LEAX Group grows with new order
LEAX Group has received a large order from SKF. The extent of the order is 13 MEUR distributed over three years. It will increase jobs at LEAX Baltix in Riga, Latvia.
President, Roger Berggren, comments the order:
”The order consists of machining of technically complicated products and has been taken in international competition. This proves that we are competitive, both regarding prices, quality and technology in the international market. We expect to continue our growth through similar orders. Outsourcing and acquisitions are other ways we expect to grow the coming years.“
LEAX Group has 280 employees in four companies in Sweden and Latvia. The group is a contract manufacturer that provides vehicle-, power generation and construction and mining industries with mechanical and electromechanical products. The group also provides consultancy within quality-, environment- and management systems through Q Control. The group forecast for 2005 is a turn over 40 MEUR.
