LEAX FALUN NOW OFFICIALLY INAUGURATED!
On Thursday the 7th of February at 4 p.m. LEAX Falun AB was inaugurated and thereby entered as the latest addition and member of the LEAX Group. LEAX President Roger Berggren cut the ribbon together with Scania´s plant manager Anders Williamsson and declared the Falun factory officially inaugurated. The last step in LEAX Three- step programme of taking over from Scania was completed on Dec. the 1st 2007. This means that LEAX Falun now has 130 employees and an estimated turnover of approximately MSEK 400 for 2008.
LEAX President Roger Berggren also took the opportunity to announce that MSEK 50 now will be invested in LEAX Falun. These investments will partly be placed in a new painting facility for propeller shafts where more environmental friendly colours will be used and partly placed in removing the remaining bottlenecks. After Roger Berggren’s speech it was Anders Williamson’s turn to speak and thereafter it was the municipal commissioner Dan Westerberg’s turn, who welcomed LEAX to grow in Falun.

After the actual inauguration the guests were offered a guided tour around the factory which was highly appreciated. Thereafter they were invited to listen to Harald Johansen’s lecture on "Restructure in the trade with global threats and possibilities". It was a very interesting lecture which was useful information for everyone to hear. The evening ended with dinner and entertainment by the imitator Jan Wolfhagen, whose performance was highly appreciated by the audience.
