LEAX do Brasil – built up step by step
The building and creation of LEAX´s new company in Brazil, LEAX do Brasil, is starting to take place and the machines are arriving as the production unit now is being built up step by step.
Leax do Brasil´s first machine which is a broaching machine from Arthur Klink was delivered to the factory at the beginning of December 2011 last year. At the end of December the transformer for the factory arrived and last week the compressor to the factory arrived. See pictures below. What is expected to come next is another ten machines that will arrive during February whereof amongst them three are Victor turning machines and two are Victor milling machines as well as a CMM from Zeiss with a rotary table for measuring splines and gears.
The planning of start of production is in March 2012 and on the 21st of March an inauguration for LEAX do Brasil will take place to celebrate the grand opening of LEAX´s sixth factory and very first one in Brazil which also is LEAX´s first factory outside of Europe.
